Spotted Cardinalfish
Sphaeramia nematoptera
The Spotted Cardinal fish is one of the most peaceful of the cardinal fish due to the fact that dominant males become the head of the group through little or no aggression. They can be kept in groups in a large enough tank.
The spotted cardinal requires a tank of 120 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places. The spotted cardinal is not truly reef safe and will eat small worms and fishes. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but should be supplemented with meaty foods like brine shrimp and crustacean flesh
