The Gold Tail Angelfish is a striking and somewhat rare angel fish in the aquarium industry. Best kept individually as they may be aggressive towards their own.
It requires a tank of 400 litres with plenty of rock work for grazing and hiding places. The Gold tail angel is not reef compatible as it will eat sponges and all corals and clams. The Gold tail angel can be a fussy eater and should be fed an assortment of carnivorous and herbivorous marine foods especially marine preparations including sponges.
