The adult Imperator Angelfish, also called the Emperor Angelfish, The Imperator Angelfish is one of the most dazzling of the Large Angel fish making it a popular addition the experienced aquarist. Best kept individually, since it can be territorial with its own kind.

It requires a tank of 400 litres or larger with plenty of hiding places. The adult emperor will nip at lps and soft corals, but can be housed with sps corals. Juveniles usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but benefit from the addition of vitamin enriched foods. The adult emperor can become a fussier eater in later life.
