Sailfin Tang
Zebrasoma veliferum
The Sailfin Tang is popular with experienced aquarists due stunning colouration and tall sail like fins. Best kept individually unless, in a large aquarium as it will fight with other sail fins, but is not aggressive with other tangs.
It requires a tank of 500 litres or larger with plenty open water for it to swim in and live rock to graze on. Tangs will eat meaty foods, but should also be supplemented with vegetarian matter like Nori to keep them healthy. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods, but benefit from the addition of some vegetable material like Nori.
