Formosa Wrasse
Coris formosa
The Formosa Wrasse is a beautiful and underrated marine fish whose colours change drastically between juvenile and adult. The Formosa wrasse can be housed with most other fish without any problems, larger individuals may harass smaller fish
It requires a tank of 500 litres or larger with plenty of live rock and deep sandy bottom of 5 – 10cm where it can bury at night. The Formosa wrasse isn’t reef compatible as it will eat invertebrates, and lager specimens have been known to flip over corals and rockwork. Wrasses will eat meaty foods like finely chopped sea foods and brine. They usually adapt well to frozen and even dried foods.
