Spotted Linckia Sea Star
Linckia multiflora
The Spotted Linckia Sea Star is the most easy to keep of all the sea stars. And is suitable for most large aquaria, it can be bothered by hermit crabs, crabs and some fishes
It requires a tank of 400 litres or larger with sand or live rock substrate and hiding places.
The spotted Linckia has been known to reproduce in the home aquarium shedding on arm which then grows a disk and 4 more arms. Once established in the home aquarium the spotted Linckia usually does very well and can live for many years
