Camel Shrimp

Rhynchocinetes durbanensis

The Camel shrimp is one of the smallest shrimp in marine aquariums. Multiple specimens can be housed together in large aquariums without any problems.

It requires a tank of 30 litres or larger with plenty of rockwork to hide in and to clean food off of. The camel shrimp isnt entirely reef compatible as it has been known to prey on corals mainly polyps, it will scavenge any leftover food stuffs, but can be fed any marine preparations.

The camel shrimp, like all inverts is intolerant to any copper based medications
