The Turbo snail is perhaps the most common and popular of all the algae grazers, efficient and suitable for all sizes of aquarium. Multiple specimens can be housed together as long as there Is enough algae growth to sustain their eating habits .
They require a tank of 10 litres or larger with plenty of rockwork to clean . The Turbo is reef compatible and beneficial to a reef setup grazing on all types of micro algae and detritus. A natural scavenger they are self sufficient in the home aquarium and should have enough natural food growth to live.
The Turbo Snail, like all inverts is intolerant to any copper based medications
